Well the ng tube is for sure not my favorite but we are getting the hang of it. She is still not drinking and eating up to par but taking one day at a time. She has only pulled the tube out 2x praise the Lord! And thanks to Justin's wonderful girlfriend Christa (who's a nurse)..who was able to help put it back in the 2nd time. Whew!
She has been using the tube about half and half most days. She gets so full so quick and gets impatient so we are having to take it pretty slow at this point.
We are just really praying for patience and wisdom right now. Our insurance isn't covering the feeding tube supplies and in home nurse visits as of yet so that extra weight on our shoulders has been pretty heavy lately. But we are trusting in God and taking it one step at a time.
The in home nurse will be coming today to weigh her and check on how she's doing with it all. She wiill also be going to hanger this week to figure out her braces. The smo's right now are pinching her little fat squishy feet so they're not safe to keep on her..but it's hard to know what to do since she could easily break her ankle's while crawling and pulling up. The plan looks like new light weight braces to protect ankle's/feet, use her new afo carbon fiber dynamics, hinged brace on her knee so she doesn't turn in so much, and shoes. so she will have a lot going on with her legs and feet..praying they can find the best option for her quickly without much more trial and error.
I am praying this verse for my life..no matter in good times or bad.
"I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances" -Proverbs 4:11
