Oh Poo

literally...lol! Poor Arwen has been through the ringer lately but still keeps a smile on and full of things to say. (in baby babble of course ha!) We took her in to urgent care through her pediatrician last night to see how backed up she still was compared to her last xray that was a couple weeks back. and now she is completely backed up to her sternum. So now we are uping her miralax regiment until we hear back from children's mercy about what to do next. The problem with childrens is that she has a million doctors and none of them are G.I. docs..weird right? Most sb kids have so many bowel issues you would think more than just a rehab doc would be helping. I don't understand it.
So we are having a hard time finding who is actually helping her with her continual bowel issues. She can't control her sphincter and can't feel down there so that doesn't make it any easier ;) I wish there was a way the hospital could clean her out and then we can try to get a fresh start. But as far as I know that's not a safe option. But I feel bad for her because her stomach gets so hard by mid day  that she just cant take anymore fluids or food from being so full. Even with the NG tube she gets fussy when you try to push more fluids.
Richard and I just sat and laughed about all this yesterday and was like..we wish there was like an easy spina bifida button to answer all your questions that don't seem to be answered. But we realize God is really trying to show Himself to us through this and we just need to be patient.
Praying we can find a doctor to help poor Arwen and that she contiunues to be in high spirits.
