YAHOO... after many failed attempts of being able to cath Arwen, I was finally able to do it today on the FIRST try! The nurses came 2 different times and couldn't get it and I couldn't get it..we were about to go crazy..but thankfully the smaller size caths worked perfectly today! Thank you for your prayers and concerns. I am just praying it is that easy every day and that she will get more calm as time goes on.
We are still fighting her pediatrician and mercy docs about her drinking on her own vs ng tube but please please please keep praying she continues to do well on her own and that we don't have to keep going back to the ng tube.
She was still having UTI's while being on the ng tube so we don't feel its nesccary to have right now if we believe she is doing a lot better on her own. We just need her to stick with it on a continual basis.
