The Lord's ways are not always our ways

Arwen's pediatrician was out of the office last week so I called today to get his advice on Arwen not drinking and her bowel issues and hate to report but it looks like we are going to have to go back to the NG tube. BOO! I am really bummed and heart broken. I know it helps her with drinking but she stops eating as much, pulls it out, and is really inconvienent. Im really trying to get myself in the Word and focus on what God is teaching me right now through these frusterations and I keep coming back to this verse.
1 peter 5:10 And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.
I am a fixer and a control freak so in these many instances of Arwens health being hard to deal with my first instinct is to panic and over react. But thankfully the Lord has been showing Himself to me more and more through scripture, sermons, books, and Godly friendships. I am very blessed to be surrounded by women who love the Lord and want to know Him more.
So the plan looks like she will have to go to Children's for some tests on her bowels and drinking and then start NG tube again. Hopefully she won't need to be cleaned out this time. We appreciate your prayers and love.
On a better note..Arwen got some cool new swivel wheels and pink camo for her walker :)
