We have been loving Awen's new pt and this week during session Arwen took 3 WHOLE STEPS with NO walker!!!! We couldn't believe it! Stood alone for the first time and walked ALL in the same week! Brought tears to my eyes to see God's grace upon her. We can only give God the praise for such a miracle that we didn't think could happen. She still has a lot of work to go and we are just trying to take one day at a time and be thankful for each day and all the blessings the Lord gives and takes away.

Here is Arwen's new walker from her dear friend. This one has red handles not blue, padding, is a newer version, and much cleaner lol. (still missing the cool pink camo decal strips, swivel wheels, and bag..but on their way)

Just seen your post on United by Spina Bifida and I welled up watching that! The joy and excitement in your voices show just how delighted you are with your beautiful daughter's latest achievement. Go Arwen!

ReplyDeleteSo exciting! What a wonderful, wonderful moment. I am so happy for you guys. Is she wearing her AFO's and then those stretchy straps on her legs? How often to you wrap her? I have some but struggle since we cath every 2-3 hours :-( Any advice is very welcomed.
