We will be leaving for Cincinnati's children's hospital here soon and She will be seeing the bowel management and Urology team while we are there. Our goal is to help keep her continent without having to take the surgery route for right now. Cincinnati's bowel management team has a 95% success rate to keep their patients continent after this program,so we are very hopeful this will help Arwen to be able to have that. As most of you know she has chronic UTI's and leaks between caths due to her neurogenic bladder (she has spasms that don't allow her to empty properly) so we are hoping the Urology team will have a better regiment for her after meeting with them.
That is a brief overview of what we hope to accomplish while in Cincinnati. Please be praying for the doctors to have clear guidance for us and for their knowledge/discernment on how to treat Arwen. Please pray for Arwen as she under goes lots of tests and procedures, her health, for her to not be overwhelmed, and that this will be a successful treatment process for her. Also be in prayer for us as we travel, our health, and as we split our time between taking time to be together as a family and consult with doctors.
