I am dreading Arwen's kidney and bladder tests this Friday, but also trusting that the Lord's hand is always upon her. It will be a very long morning of many tests that expect her to be still and compliant..and what 20 month old is either of those? lol. So please be praying for Arwen as she goes through these tests, for the doctors/nurses to have patience and discernment, and for us as we try to make sure Arwen is comfortable and that we choose the right medical desicions for her. We will get the results and see all of her many doctors at clinic next month on the 19th. It is another very long day full of advice, questions, answers, emotions, and craziness..lol. Its hard to even describe these types of days but at the same time we are thankful that Arwen is being taking care of. There is a lot of medical advice up in the air after these visits and I am just praying for discernment as we look to God ultimately for answers and not man.
Arwen has been doing very well lately with her mobility and physical therapy, but is still struggling daily with the ins and outs of her spina bifida. she is still not drinking well on her own and bladder concerns. So hopefully we can get these addressed at these appointments without having to do the ng tube or gtube.
We appreciate your love and prayers for Arwen. We feel very blessed that our loving little girl has so many people out there who love her and care about her journey with Spina Bifida. We give God the glory through all the ups and downs of her spina bifida and are truly blessed to have our children in our lives.
