baby arwen 18 weeks (above)
noah and adison pretending to be pregnant like mommy (below)

Well, lots going on in the Tuttle Household recently-
We went to see the high risk doctors on friday for the ultrasound and they did confirm that our baby is a girl and she has Meningomyelocele Spina Bifida in the lower lumbar/sacral area(the most severe type of spnia bifida-a fully exposed section of the spinal cord and nerves)She also has mild Hydrocephalus (fluid on the brain) but not severe as of now. Both of these condtions can worsen during the remaining months in womb, so we are praying it doesn't and that she will be able to keep movement in her lower half. She does have normal lower limb movement, no club feet, and the rest of her organs are developing great. I will have to continue going to in for more sonograms ever 4-6 weeks and will have to deliver by c-section at the high risk hospital. The baby will be taken directly from birth to Children's Mercy for surgery. We will know more later in pregnancy and once we meet with Children's Mercy Specialists over the next few months. We would appreciate all of your prayers and support during this time.

Adison had her birthday party this weekend and it was a hit. We had about 35 people and lots of fun and cake! She really enjoyed her friends coming and all of her new High School Musical toys.
She is looking forward to her birthday on Thursday. She is having friends over to play during the day and then out to eat with the family...so needless to say a day of spoiling-lol

Noah was not sleeping at nap time or bed....just screaming and throwing a fit for about a week...then we put his big boy bed back into crib and he is all of a sudden all better...ha boys you just never know with them-ha!

Baby Arwen has been moving a lot and getting the hiccups..of course when mommy's trying to sleep. We hav reg OB appt next week and sono in October.

We leave for Niagara Falls in 9 days....overwhelming to think about right now...but looking forward to a much needed vacation.
