Arwen's Upcoming Hospital Traveling Expenses

As Arwen continues to grow, becoming more independent, and battling the symptoms of her Spina Bifida, it has become apparent that she is needing medical care beyond what our local Kansas City hospitals are able to provide at this time. As we have sought to give her the best care possible we are currently weighing similar options between two different Children's hospitals; one in Cincinnati, Ohio and the other in Denver, Colorado.

Either one of these trips will require a focused treatment for Arwen that will last a little over a week.

We are still in the process of consulting with the staff of each hospital to determine which one will have the best program for Arwen. The process requires much prepatory paperwork and discussions between us and each hospital. We are hoping within the next few weeks to make a final decision.

Because the hospital visit will be a little over a week's time in another city, and will require the attention of both parents, we have decided that the best option would be for our whole family to make the trip together. To that end we are looking to offset our travel expenses, including hotel, gas, and food.
