Our Journey

I can't believe Arwen is one already...wow! She amazes us each and every day. She is really doing well with pulling up. Now we're working on getting her mobile...which goes okay sometimes lol. She doesn't know how to get from standing to back down so that's a fun challenge ha! We are hoping to get a posterioir walker and her new dafo's within the next month or so to test it all out. We are debating on whether she needs theratogs or derotation straps to help pull her feet to the correct position. Lots of fun new possisbilities for this new year and we are looking forward to what God has in store for her.
She is full of great smiles, facial expressions, and baby chatter. And pretty much rules the roost at the Tuttle house. Her big brother Noah and big sister Adi run to her rescure at every little whimper haha.
We're trying to figure out some bladder, bowel, and feet issues. Which will hopefully get figured out during clinic in April. It's hard not knowing what's going on since spina bifida issues range from one extreme to the next with so many possibilities inbetween. And every doctor has a different opinion. But we are thankful that she has the option to be seen.
Adison is doing very well in home schooling thus far. She can pretty much read on her own if she takes the time to be patient :) I am very proud of her. She is loving girl scouts and had fun selling lots of cookies. She will be starting soccer again at the end of this month.
Noah will be 4 in less than a month and that's insane to me! He's still my baby boy...but not lol. He is getting bigger every month. He's outgrowing all of this clothes left and right. He is excited to play sports again this summer.
We are hoping to have another open house this month to help get things rolling on that end. Hopefully this nice weather will bring lots of lookers :)
Richard and I are looking into visiting Vancouver this summer and can't wait! We are looking forward to getting to know the area a little better and praying over it. God has really been opening the door lately for different connections and showing us small bits of His plan for us in the future. It's scary and exciting all at once. We are just taking one step at a time and praying for God to lead us as He wills.

  1. I didn't know Adi was reading. Time is soaring! I'm so proud of your kiddos and I'm so happy to be their cousin as well as yours. Give those babies a kiss and hug from me! <3
